Image Compressor
Shrink JPG, PNG and WebP images in batches — pick a quality preset or a KB target, watch each file's exact savings, save what you like.
JPEG Compressor
Re-encode JPEGs at the quality you actually need — typical photos shed 40–80% with no visible difference.
PNG Compressor
Lossless PNG re-encoding with honest results per file — and clear guidance when a format switch would save far more.
WebP Compressor
Squeeze already-efficient WebP further — re-encode at the quality your use case needs, savings shown per file.
AVIF Compressor
Tune the most efficient format there is — AVIF re-encoded at your chosen quality, entirely in-browser.
Image Resizer
Exact pixels or a percentage, aspect ratio locked, presets for the sizes you actually need — with high-quality resampling and your choice of output format.
Crop Image
Drag the handles or type exact pixels — with rule-of-thirds guides and locked aspect presets for squares, widescreen, and everything between.
Rotate Image
Quarter turns for sideways photos, a fine-angle slider for crooked horizons, and one-click mirror flips — with a live preview of exactly what you'll save.

A full image pipeline that never uploads
Most "free online image converters" upload your photos to a server — these don't. Conversion, compression, resizing, cropping and rotation all run on your machine using browser codecs and WebAssembly encoders (mozjpeg, oxipng, libwebp, libaom for AVIF), so private photos, unreleased designs and ID scans stay where they belong. Batches process in parallel with per-file progress, and results download individually or all at once.
Format coverage spans the real world: PNG ⇄ JPG ⇄ WebP, modern AVIF, iPhone HEIC, camera RAW (CR2/CR3/NEF/ARW/DNG and more), TIFF, BMP, SVG rasterization, PDF pages to images, and GIF to MP4. The editing trio — Image Resizer, Crop Image, Rotate Image — handles exact-pixel output with aspect-ratio locks, composition guides, and quality control on export.
Choosing the right format in 2026
The short version: photos for the web → WebP (or AVIF where supported) at quality ~80; graphics with sharp edges or transparency → PNG; maximum compatibility for email and office documents → JPG; archival masters → keep the original and export copies. The compressors show exact before/after sizes so you can see the trade-off per image instead of guessing — and the converters never inflate: if re-encoding would produce a larger file, you keep the original.
Which image tool do I need?
Image tool pairs cluster into a few real-world families rather than dozens of unrelated converters. The web-format family (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF) covers everyday photo and graphic conversions for sites and apps. HEIC conversion exists because iPhones default to a format most non-Apple software still cannot open. RAW conversion (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, and more) turns camera-specific formats into previews anyone can view. SVG rasterization and PDF-to-image handle vector and document sources that need to become ordinary bitmaps, and GIF to MP4 shrinks looping animations into a modern video codec. Alongside conversion, the editing trio — resize, crop, rotate — and the compressors work on any format already in the browser. Every family runs the same way: canvas or WebAssembly processing on your device, with nothing uploaded to a server.
| Tool | Input | Output | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Web format converters (PNG ⇄ JPG ⇄ WebP ⇄ AVIF) | Any common web image format | Any other web image format | Everyday photo and graphic conversions for sites and apps |
| HEIC converters | iPhone HEIC photos | PNG, JPG, or WebP | Opening iPhone photos on non-Apple software |
| RAW converters | Camera RAW (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG…) | PNG or JPG | Previewing or sharing camera-original files |
| SVG to raster / PDF to image | SVG vector art or PDF pages | PNG or JPG | Turning vector art or document pages into bitmaps |
| GIF to MP4 | Animated GIF | MP4 video | Shrinking looping animations for the web |
| Editing trio (Resize, Crop, Rotate) | Any raster image | Same format, edited | Exact-pixel composition changes before export |
| Compressors | Any raster image | Same format, smaller | Cutting file size with a visible before/after |
Help
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about the Image Tools.
01Are my images really not uploaded anywhere?
Really. Files are read with the browser's File API, processed on a canvas or in WebAssembly, and saved with a download — the network tab shows zero uploads. Pages keep working offline once loaded, which is the simplest proof.
02How much quality do I lose converting or compressing?
Lossless paths (PNG optimization, format moves into PNG) lose nothing. Lossy encodes (JPG/WebP/AVIF) default to quality ≈ 0.8–0.92, visually transparent for photos; the compressor presets let you choose, and the size readout shows what each setting buys. Re-encoding an already-lossy image repeatedly compounds loss — convert from originals when you can.
03Why does HEIC/RAW conversion take longer than PNG/JPG?
Those formats need real decoders (libheif for HEIC, embedded-preview extraction for RAW) that load on demand as WebAssembly. The first file pays the module load; the rest of the batch reuses it. Common web formats use the browser's native, instant decoders.
