Privacy Policy
The short version: the data you paste into our tools never leaves your device. Here's the complete picture, including analytics and advertising.
1. Your tool data is never transmitted
Every tool on NV Toolkit — formatters, validators, converters, escapers, encoders, generators — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The text you paste, the files you open, and the URLs you fetch are processed locally. We have no server-side processing for tool data, no databases storing it, and no logs containing it. When a tool fetches a URL you provide, your browser makes that request directly to that URL.
The same applies to the image tools: photos and documents you convert or compress are decoded and re-encoded on your device, by image codecs compiled to WebAssembly running inside your browser. Your images are never uploaded, previewed server-side, or stored anywhere — which is exactly why the tools keep working if you go offline after the page loads.
2. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage — which tools are popular, which pages need improvement. Analytics collects standard usage signals (pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device type) with IP anonymization enabled. It never has access to the content you paste into tools, because that content stays in the editor on your device.
3. Advertising
The site is supported by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where you have consented. You can control ad personalization at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com. Visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, and Switzerland are shown a consent dialog from our Google-certified consent management platform, and advertising and analytics storage is denied by default in those regions until consent is given — so no advertising or analytics cookies are set there beforehand.
4. Cookies and local storage
Beyond the third-party cookies described above, the site itself stores only functional preferences in your browser's local storage — currently your light/dark theme choice. No identifiers, no tracking.
5. Shareable links
Some tools can generate shareable links that encode your input inside the link itself (compressed into the URL fragment). Fragments are not sent to any server by your browser when loading the page — but anyone you give the link to can decode the content, so share accordingly.
6. Children's privacy
The site is a developer utility, not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
7. Who is responsible for this site
NV Toolkit is operated by NaveenKumar T, an individual software engineer, who is the data controller for the analytics and advertising data described above. Requests to access, correct or delete personal data — and any other privacy question — can be sent to hello@nvtoolkit.com. Because tool inputs are never transmitted to us, there is no tool data to access or delete on our side.
8. Changes
We'll update this policy as the site evolves, with the revision date below. Last updated: September 10, 2026.
